10 VSC swimmers made the beautiful journey through the forests and mountains, as well as along the breathtaking coastline, to the Newport Recreation Center pool this past weekend to compete in this year's NST Seahorse Invitational. VSC swimmers Kayla Bradshaw and Riley Stevenson made the trek up to the Tacoma area this past weekend to compete in the Pacific Northwest Swimming 2022 UPAC/MET July Jamboree. The meet was held in University Place, WA @ the very nice Curtis High School Aquatic Center. Also, the meet was conducted on the same weekend as the PNS Long Course Championships. What that means is that the very fastest swimmers in the area were not on-hand, giving the remaining swimmers the rare opportunity to race for all the Meet Awards....
4 VSC swimmers drove down to Beaverton this past weekend to compete in our only actual Long Course swim meet (50M pool) this summer: the 2022 Tualatin Hills Swim Club Summer Classic. Led by 10 year old VSC swimmer Noah Millikan, 6 VSC swimmers crashed the 2022 LaCamas Luau party this past weekend, which was held at the friendly waters of Gold's Gym Aquatic Center Short Course Meters (25M) facility. 9 VSC swimmers competed this past weekend at the 2022 CST Summer Invite. The meet was held in Newberg at the Chehalem Aquatic Center. And about 230 competitors, representing 9 other teams, were also on hand, almost twice as many as at our last meet.
