Poseidon Swimming Lessons
Welcome to the Poseidon Swim School at Woodlake!
Poseidon Swimming is celebrating its 31st year of training competitive swimmers of all levels. We are excited to offer group and private lessons from preschool to adult, high school and summer league prep and stroke schools. Our mission is to ensure that every person, regardless of age or ability, has the opportunity to become a safe and happy swimmer. A few notes:
- Health checks: Please check yourself and your child for any symptoms of illness before arriving for lessons. If you or your child are symptomatic, please stay home! We will do our best to reschedule any missed classes.
- Private and Semi-Private Lessons: Private lesson classes are available through our online registration. If you do not see any times that work for you or you would like to schedule a semi-private lesson, please contact the Director, Erin Doyle. Please email [email protected]
woodlakeonline.com . - Parents: If you wish to stay for the lesson, please feel free to sit at any of the tables or on the bleachers. You are also free to take a walk outdoors or enjoy a good book in your car.

Poseidon Summer League Clinics
Our Summer League clinics are designed for swimmers who already have summer swim team experience and can swim 25 yards freestyle and 25 yards back unassisted. For younger swimmers who have not participated in summer swim league, the Poseidon Swim School is a great fit.
All clinics will be coached by Poseidon Swimming's Coach Bridget. Coach Bridget has over 40 years of coaching experience. She was a NCAA scholarship swimmer for UVA and has a Masters of Education in Sports Psychology. As a former Virginia Age Group Coach of the Year recipient, she loves coaching Poseidon's Age Group swimmers and improving their mastery of the sport.
