Junior Indians Middle School Team Swim Team
The Roscoe-Rockton-Shirland (RRS) Junior Indians Middle School Swim Team was started by The Stateline Aquatic Team in 2018. The RRS Junior Indians Middle School Swim Team was formed in order to provide the kids of our community with a great opportunity to try competitive swimming and get their “feet wet” prior to joining the Hononegah Swim Team.
The RRS Junior Indians Middle School Swim Team is comprised of students in the 6th through 8th grade at Stephen Mack, Roscoe, Willowbrook and Shirland MiddleSchools.
The Junior Indians Middle School Swim Team is a member of, and competes in, the Rock River Athletic Conference against other swim teams from Eisenhower, Flinn, Freeport, Harlem, Kennedy, Lincoln, Marshall, RESA and West Middle Schools. The RRS Junior Indians compete in dual meets against each of these teams and our season culminates with a Championship Meet in March.
The Junior Indians Middle School Swim Team will practice at Harlem Middle School and Beloit College. Actual practice locations will depend on pool space and availability. Scott Kitzman will direct a coaching staff comprised of Stateline Aquatic Team coaches and some of our high school swimmers.
