Finally, a huge thank you to ALL the parents, families and friends of Mako Aquatics that volunteered throughout the weekend to make the MRC successful for the visiting teams and our swimmers! A special THANK YOU to our outgoing Meet Director Nicole Kolb, our incoming Meet Directors Steph Beedle & Tracy Prescott and Volunteer Coordinator Beth Rauker for their work leading up to and throughout the meet. While we can’t run a meet without a full volunteer corps, there are some areas that require some special recognition – Paul Cicha who made sure the timing system was set up and ready to go and was able to trouble shoot the timing system/projector issues Friday evening; Rob & Karen Cooper who successfully weathered (pun intended) missing food donations and long lines of hungry travelers from visiting teams on Friday and our Officials (Paul Stein and Parris Vitela) who worked each session throughout the weekend.
