The J-Hawks are so incredibly grateful to be able to practice and compete during this time. Practices are socially distanced and swimmers are masked. Masks come off when they enter the water and go back on when they get out. We have 3 swimmers per lane, to maintain spacing. Cones are on the deck to maintain distancing before and after practice. Swim meets definitely look different, but it just does not matter. Families are so happy that their child has a safe and healthy option during our virtual times.. Meet...

Ella Houwers led the Whitewater High School girls at the 2020 WIAA Girls Division 2 State Meet this past Friday night. Ella won both of her events, the 200 IM and the 100 breast, capping off an incredible high school career. Grace Foucault qualified in the 200 free and the 100 back. She broke her school record in the 100 back, with a time of 1:00.97 Seniors Sophia Fanshaw and Amber Krebs joined Ella and Grace for the 200 medley relay and the 400 free relay. Both relays dropped as...

We'd love to have you join us! We are in the water training if you are looking for a team. We practice at the Whitewater Aquatic Center (WAC). All swimmers must be members of WAC. A youth membership is $30/month and a family membership is $43/month. We have a couple of home-schooled families that swim in the late mornings. Otherwise, our practices are in the evenings, between 5pm-8:45pm MWF (12&U water is 5:45pm-7pm and 13&Over is 7pm-8:45pm) or 6:30pm-9pm TUTH (12&U water is 6:30pm-7:30pm and 13&Over is 7:30pm-9pm). Some 13-14...

I cannot say enough about how proud I am of these 5 athletes. We were scheduled to be at Nationals, racing today. However, fate had another plan and their national meet was canceled last Thursday afternoon. As you can imagine, this was devastating. We moved forward knowing we could not change what was happening around us. We decided to run a mini-meet, suit up and put the electronic timing system in, so the times would count for team records and personal best times. We even had officials, my Dad and...

SENIORS STEP UP AT STATE! Our senior swimmers did an awesome job racing at state, with some overcoming sickness and still pushing through and doing best times. Young Liang swam all 4 days and made it back to finals in all of his events, too (switched it up and raced backstroke this weekend and came near a national bonus cut!). We had different swimmers racing different days as we are preparing for nationals next week. This is truly a fun group of hard working athletes that are an awesome example...

We are very proud of the girls and how they represented J-Hawks at the NCSA national championship last week. Dani Cramer continued to take down our butterfly team records, while at NCSA nationals this past weekend, in Indianapolis. Dani set new records in the 50 meter fly (28.51) and 200 meter fly (2:23.83). Dani also swam a best time in her 100 meter back (1:05.63). Ella Houwers swam best times in her 400 meter IM, dropping 4+ seconds, finishing in 5:13.91, 200 breast (2:44.79), and her 200 IM (2:26.69). Both...
