HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS HEADING TO STATE AND BREAKING RECORDS

Congrats to our high school girls who had a fast and fun weekend of racing!

We have 10 swimmers competing at the WIAA State meets this weekend, which is just amazing.  Friday evening is D2 State (racing starts at 6:30pm) and Saturday is D1 State (starting at 3pm).

            

WIAA QUALFIERS:
Dani Cramer (Milton):  200 IM (new national cut achieved), 100 back, 400 free relay
Gaby de Moya-Cotter (Edgerton):  100 fly

Megan Duffy (Jefferson/Cambridge):  50 free, 100 free, 200 free relay
Sophia Fanshaw (Whitewater):  200 medley relay
Ella Houwers (Whitewater):  200 medley relay, 200 IM, 100 breast, 200 free relay
Amber Krebs (Whitewater):  200 free relay
Maggie Person (Delavan-Darien):  500 free
Josie Peterson (Jefferson/Cambridge):  50 free, 100 free, 200 free relay

Ruby Schieldt (Edgerton):  500 free
Brianna Zimdars (Whitewater):  200 medley relay, 500 free, 200 free relay

These 10 girls were also part of 12 school records broken, on Saturday: 

Edgerton girls led the way, with 5 school records:  100 fly & 100 back (Gaby), 500 free (Ruby), 200 free and 400 free relay (Lexi Schultz, Bailey Dowd, Ruby, and Gaby).

Whitewater broke 4 school records:  200 IM & 100 breast (Ella), the 200 medley relay (Sophia, Ella, Brianna) and 200 free relay (Brianna, Amber, Ella).

Jefferson broke 3 records:  50 & 100 free (Megan) and the 200 free relay (Megan & Josie)
