GIRLS SHINE - HOUWERS WINS!

ELLA HOUWERS – D2 STATE CHAMPION!

Ella Houwers led the Whitewater girls, as she became the first girls’ state champion, in school history, in the 100 breast.  Ella won the event with a 1:05.34.

PODIUM FINISHES
The girls had several other podium finishes, too.

Ella Houwers (Whitewater):                         3rd place  200 IM                     2:09.12
Megan Duffy (Jefferson-Cambridge):    4th place  50 free                24.12
Dani Cramer (Milton):                           5th place 100 back              56.11

Whitewater Medley Relay:  Sophia Fanshaw, Ella, Brianna Zimdars, and Morgan Radaj – 6th
Whitewater 200 Free Relay:  Morgan, Brianna, Amber Krebs, and Ella – 6th

Best Times:
Brianna Zimdars finished 8th, in the 500 free, with a 5:19.07
Gaby de Moya-Cotter finished 9th, in the 100 fly, with a 59.03
Dani Cramer, leading off the 400 free relay with a 53.49

The other girls and races, included:  Dani Cramer (200 IM), Megan Duffy (100 free & 200 free relay), Ruby Schieldt (500 free), Maggie Person (500 free), and Josie Peterson (50 & 100 free & 200 free relay).
