RECORDS FALL AT NATIONALS

Coach Zimdars

We are very proud of the girls and how they represented J-Hawks at the NCSA national championship last week.

Dani Cramer continued to take down our butterfly team records, while at NCSA nationals this past weekend, in Indianapolis.

Dani set new records in the 50 meter fly (28.51) and 200 meter fly (2:23.83).  Dani also swam a best time in her 100 meter back (1:05.63).

Ella Houwers swam best times in her 400 meter IM, dropping 4+ seconds, finishing in 5:13.91, 200 breast (2:44.79), and her 200 IM (2:26.69).

Both Ella and Dani finished as first alternate, for finals, which was a big jump up in seeding to finishes.

The relays also improved their seedings as the 200 medley relay team of Dani, Ella, Gaby de Moya-Cotter, and Brianna Zimdars did a best time and moved up 6 spots.  The same foursome moved up 11 spots, for the 400 medley relay, on the last day of the meet.

Gaby and Brianna each did a personal best time in a time trial, too, as Gaby dropped over 5 seconds in her 100 meter breast and Brianna swam a best in the 100 free.
