Grateful to Swim and Compete

Coach Zimdars

The J-Hawks are so incredibly grateful to be able to practice and compete during this time.

Practices are socially distanced and swimmers are masked.  Masks come off when they enter the water and go back on when they get out.  We have 3 swimmers per lane, to maintain spacing.  Cones are on the deck to maintain distancing before and after practice.

Swim meets definitely look different, but it just does not matter.  Families are so happy that their child has a safe and healthy option during our virtual times..  Meet warmups are limited and no spectators are allowed to sit in any of the facilities.  Swimmers stay masked until they are behind their blocks to race.  All volunteers and coaches are also masked.  We've done 3 meets, so far, and they have been run with safety and distancing as a top priority.

We truly appreciate the support of the Whitewater Aquatic Center.
All of our swimmers are members and we are so grateful for the water time.
