COVID-19 Information, Protocol and Guidelines

MAC Families -

It is important to learn ways for individuals and our families to stay safe by following the guidelines recommended by the Public Heath Department of Madison and Dane County and the CDC.

We are all trying to get through this period as best as we all can. You are responsible for deciding which activities and behaviors you feel comfortable doing. At this stage in the pandemic, your decision about what you feel comfortable with may be different from another person’s. That’s okay. Whatever choice you make is the right one for you and your family.

Regardless of your vaccination status, stay home if you’re sick. This is true for COVID-19 and other viruses!

If your child or family have been exposed as a close contact to someone with Covid-19, please read the following pdf for the guidelines and policies we follow -

COVID-19: WHEN A SWIMMER OR A STAFF MEMBER CAN RETURN TO A NON-SCHOOL YOUTH SETTINGS

If your child has received a positive test result our protocol is:

Family of the individual(s) are asked to contact coach or COVID point of contact (Janis Katz) upon receipt of positive COVID test. Request information on date of positive test and/or date of onset of any symptoms.

People with a positive test can return when they have been fever-free for 24 hours, their other symptoms are have improved, and it has been at least 10 days since their symptoms started. This may be shorter than the time a close contact needs to stay home.
