WE REALLY NEED YOUR HELP TO MAKE OUR CLUB A BETTER, SAFER, & MORE PROTECTED PLACE FOR OUR MEMBERSHIP TO THRIVE!

We, Stoughton Aqua Racers (STAR), fully endorse and support USA Swimming’s Safe Sport and Safety programs by helping to provide countless resources for our club members on our own website, or these resources can also be found at https://www.usaswimming.org/safe-sport/safe-sport-recognition-program.

OUR GOAL, AS A TEAM, IS TO STAY A “SAFE SPORT RECOGNIZED” CLUB BY USA SWIMMING.  In order to do this, certain requirements must be met.  Some of which include learning exercises for our swim parents and athletes.  WE NEED ALL OF OUR SWIM PARENTS AND ATHLETES TO TAKE A QUICK COURSE ONLINE WITH USA SWIMMING.  USA Swimming will track the number of people that take the quick online training program from our team and we will be awarded points based on our completion rate.  The more parents and swimmers that participate, THE BETTER and SAFER!

PLEASE HELP OUR TEAM BY TAKING A FEW MINUTES TO COMPLETE A TRAINING EXERCISE THAT WILL HELP TO PROTECT OUR SWIMMERS AND OUR MEMBERSHIP!

For athletes: (Turn off pop up blockers on your web browser)

1.       Visit https://www.usaswimming.org/; Click on “Login/Register” to log in to your account.

2.       Next click on “Education” in the blue toolbar. 

3.       Select Course Catalog.

4.       Select “Safe Sport Courses.”

5.       Click on “Safe Sport for Youth Athletes (13-17)”

6.       Click on “Go to Course”.

7.       You will need to accept terms and conditions and then proceed to taking the course. 

8.       Once you have completed the course download your certificate.

9.       OR sign up for a live Zoom. (Monthly Zooms available)

For parents: (Turn off pop up blockers on your web browser)

2.       Next click on “Education” in the blue toolbar. 

3.       Select Course Catalog.

4.       Select “Safe Sport Courses.”

5.       Click on Parent’s Guide to Misconduct in Sport,

6.       Click on “Go to Course”.

7.       You will need to accept terms and conditions and then proceed to taking the course. 

8.       Once you have completed the course download your certificate.

9.       OR sign up for a live Zoom. (Monthly Zooms available)
