Coach Eric begins his 15th year as the head coach of the SPDY swim team. Eric began swimming competitively at the age of seven on a summer league program in his home state of Illinois. He has been involved with swimming year round ever since. Eric graduated in 2006 from UW-Green Bay with a double major in History and Political Science. He was also a four year swimmer and 2005-2006 team captain for the Phoenix men's swim team.

Eric got his coaching start with the Trails of Algonquin swim team in Algonquin, IL. He worked as an assistant coach for three summers before accepting the position with the Stevens Point YMCA. Outside the pool, Eric enjoys following his favorite sports teams, memorizing Seinfeld episodes and spending time with his wife Molly and four children Lucas (9), Layla (6), Blake (6) and Hattie (3). 

Coach Jillian has 13 years of competitive swimming experience between Manitowoc/Two Rivers YMCA swim, varsity high school, and middle school. She graduated from UWSP with a degree in Elementary and Special Education. She is currently working as a special education teacher in the Wausau School District. For the past four seasons, Coach Jillian has coached the Wausau Area YMCA swim team. Coach Jillian is excited to be joining SPDY this coming season and looks forward to passing on her passion and knowledge for the sport. Coach Jillian's favorite events are the 500 free, 400 IM, 1000 and 1650 free. In her spare time, she enjoy's playing board games with friends and family, riding her moped around Door County, and spending time with her two cats (Jax and Cyrax).
