Junior Dive Team Group (Age 8th Grade and Under during school year)

The Junior Dive Team Group is the entry level team option for 8th grade and under divers that have completed all levels within the lessons program or diving camp, divers with previous experience (ie. diving, gymnastics, tumbling, etc.) or participants who have had a skills evaluation with a Schroeder diving coach. Divers within this group will immediately be able to compete within the novice levels at local meets with the intention of diving at the age group level towards being apart of the regional, zone and national level teams. Junior Dive Team offers 2-day, 3-day or 4-day a week practice options.

Schedule / Cost

Junior Dive Team practices are offered Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 5:45-7:30 during the calendar school year (early September - mid-June). Divers can choose from 3 different practice options listed in the chart below.

The monthly dues for the practice option selected are collected on the first of each month through your required Team Unify account via Credit Card or ACH withdrawal. You can create your Team Unify account on the WSAC website at www.wsacltd.org. Along with team dues, each diver will pay a team fee of $100 that will be collected at the beginning of the first month as a team member and once a year during the USA Diving competitive calendar thereafter (Sep 1 - Aug 31st).

How It Works

Junior Dive Team is coached by the Head Diving Coach, Todd Hill, accompanied by various assistant coaches to provide better diver to coach ratios. Divers in this group progress their skills on the 1 and 3-meter springboards with optional progression on platform.

Required USA Diving Registration

Divers are required to have an Athlete or Competition Athlete Membership with USA Diving in order to participate. The Athlete or Competition Athlete USA Diving Memberships are required due to the necessary insurance needed to participate and the ability to compete in USA Diving sanctioned events. Registration is completed online at the USA Diving Website (www.usadiving.org) at a cost of $20 for Athlete Membership and $75 for Competition Athlete Membership (required for competing at USA Diving Regional, Zones, and National competitions). Registration is good from November 1, 2018 - December 31, 2019. This needs to be completed before the first day of practice.


Senior Dive Team Group (High School and Up during school year)

Senior Dive Team Group is primarily consisted of high school age divers preparing for any of the following reasons: divers training for WIAA High School meets, USA Diving Age Group and Senior Competitions, divers preparing to move into NCAA or Collegiate level diving and NCAA and collegiate divers training over school breaks and summer. Senior Dive Team 2-Day and 3-4 Day a week options

Schedule / Cost

Senior Dive Team practices are Monday-Thursday from 4-6pm during the calendar school year (early September - mid-June). We encourage the divers to attend as many training sessions as possible to aid in skill progression and retention.

Summer Dive Team practices are offered Monday, Tuesday & Thursday from 8:45-10:15 am or 9:45-11: 15 am and Monday-Thursday 1:15-3:30 pm during the summer (June 17 - August 8th, 2019 **AM practices end August 1st** ). We encourage the divers to attend as many training sessions as possible to aid in skill progression and retention.

Summer dues for the practice option selected are collected in a 1-time fee on July 1st or split equally on July 1st and August 1st through your required Team Unify account via Credit Card or ACH withdrawal. Along with team dues, each diver will pay a team fee of $50 (new members only) that will be collected at the beginning of the first month as a team member and once a year during the USA Diving competitive calendar thereafter.
