Head Coach

George Guddie

I am the Developmental Age Group Coach at SWAT for ages 9-12-year old’s. I have been coaching competitive swimming since 1995 and this will be my second year as a Zone Open water coach. Besides club swimming, I am the head coach for the Whitnall High School Men’s and Women’s teams.

I am excited to work with the exceptional athletes, coaches and families that will represent Team Wisconsin.

Team Coaches

Mike Hruska

Mike is the head competitive coach at the Madison Aquatic Club. He has coached Madison area club swim teams, along with everything swim related including learn-to-swim, high school swim, masters swim, and triathletes, for over a decade. He stays motivated in his own athletic life through participating in triathlons and run races. He is an Ironman Wisconsin 2015 finisher (first out of the water for his age group) and has competed in numerous half-iron and shorter distance tri's. He is currently training for the 2017 Twin Cities Marathon.

Luke Schaser

I began swimming for the Verona Aquatic Club when I was 7 years old and enjoyed success as a swimmer for 6 years, winning a state championship and winning gold on multiple Wisconsin Zone relays. I then took that love and passion for swimming years later into coaching. I have been coaching for 2 years now and have had the opportunity to work with many swimmers who have been very successful at the State level. Currently I work as an age group coach for The Madison Aquatic Club, and run their brand new lessons program.
