Kris Engstrom Stingray Coach

Kris Engstrom has been part of the West Bend Swim Club forever:  swimmer, parent, board member, and coach!   Her parents signed her up for the West Bend Water Bees swim club (the club that is now WBSC) when she was 8 because they were looking for an organized sport for her siblings.  Kris’s family grew up swimming in WBSC with Coach Jim and Coach Dave as their coaches!  In high school, she swam at West Bend East with Jim as her high school coach.  After high school, Kris swam at the University of Stevens Point.  Eventually, she graduated with a degree in elementary education and currently teaches 4th grade at Campbellsport Elementary. Her time coaching with the club started shortly after graduating, but she took a break to raise her four daughters.   When Kris’s daughters were old enough, they joined club as well. As a swim club parent, she was involved on the WBSC board for several years ( member at large, secretary, vice- president, president).  While her daughters are now WBSC swammers and have completed successful high school and college swimming careers, Kris continues to coach WBSC by guiding your children to realize their joys of swimming.  Kris is married to her husband Troy, who has also been in many board positions.
