If you are presently an official (thank you!), or would like to become an official, we hope the information on this page will help you.
- Current Officials
1. Annually -- NEW ONLINE MEMBER REGISTRATION PROCESS as of September 1, 2022!
ALL Existing Members must create a new LOGIN to link to thier EXISTING information in SWIMS

b) Scroll down to the Instructional Video: "How To Create An Account For EXISTING Members"
c) Watch this video & follow the Step-By-Step Instructions
d) Additional information can be found on the Landing Page, and on the SWIMS 3.0 Database Resource HUB HERE
** Items 2 - 4 will all be accessed through your membership platform under the "Education Tab > ALL Courses" **
2. Pass the required background check (BGC). The BGC is valid for two (2) years.
3. Complete the annual Athlete Protection Training (APT).
4. Complete the (one-time) Concussion Training Protocols certification.

1. Complete the same steps as current officials, 1 - 4, above.
2. Take and pass the certification examination at USA Swimming website (Officials Training): Stroke and Turn, Starter, Referee, Administrative Official, Administrative Referee, etc.
3. Complete and record the minimum hours under instruction at USA Swimming sanctioned swim meets (see links, below)
