Oregon Swimming hosted Camps/Clinics:
B/C Camps
These are open to any registered athlete of Oregon Swimming that meets the eligibility requirements. They are generally free of charge. If you would like to host a camp at your facility contact  Denise Croucher .
OSCA Clinic
During the House of Delegates, typically the first weekend in October, the Oregon Swim Coaches Association hosts a clinic. They will bring in an Olympic level athlete through Arena to run the clinic.
Senior All Star Training Camp
2020 Oregon Swimming SR All Star Camp
Approximate dates October 27-Nov. 2, 2020
Budapest, Hungary
Oregon Swimming will be taking a team of athletes to the 2020 World Cup Meet in Budapest Oct 29-Nov 1, 2020.  Athletes must have a minimum of one Summer Junior National cut to apply (qualifying period from April 1, 2019-August 8, 2020).  Athletes must be a current member in good standing with USA Swimming (including having taken all MAAPP required classes by application due date of 8/9/20 that will be valid through the end of 2020).  Due to the extensive resources invested in this camp, all applicants must have been a member of Oregon Swimming for 1 year from application deadline.  Valid passport through February 2021, but MUST have been issued by May 2020 to meet International travel requirements.  Travel dates will be roughly Oct 27-Nov 2, 2020 (exact travel TBA).  Cost will be $800/athlete with Oregon Swimming paying the remainder.  The size of team will be selected based on budget; LCM times will be prioritized, and selection will prioritize higher FINA point swims.  Ultimate size of team and selection will be made by the SR Chair with input from the General Chair and Admin Chair as well as OSCA Coaches Rep.
Age Group All Star Camp - postponed date TBD
The 2nd Annual Age Group Select Camp for 10-14 yr olds will be rescheduled.  Details are being worked out, and more information will be posted here when finalized. 
Selection criteria - Swimmers will be ranked within their specific age group by their top scoring power point event at the 2020 10&U and 11-14 Age Group State Meet. Once a swimmer is selected, the rest of their swims will be removed from the list and we will keep selecting new athletes from the list until we have reached our specific age group capacity.

LSC Select Camp
USA Swimming provides educational and motivational materials to run camps in the Local Swim Committee. The LSC Select Camps are designed as a combination of education sessions, social opportunities and water activities. Each LSC can choose their skill level and area of focus for the camp.

National Select Camp
This annual camp affords elite athletes between the ages of 14-16 an opportunity to travel to the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs for several days to benefit from the resources and expertise there.
Zone Select Camp
These regional camps serve as introductory level programming for elite athletes between the ages of 12-14. Athletes are selected and grouped according to Zone and participate in a short swimming camp located somewhere within their Zone that touches on aspects of competitive swimming including technique, training, and nutrition.
Open Water Select Camp
Athletes are selected based on their performance in the pool and at open water competitions. The location of the camp varies from year to year.
2019 Diversity Select Camp
The athlete application for the 2019 National Diversity Select Camp is now open! Applications must be received by USA Swimming headquarters by Friday, February 8th at 5 p.m. Mountain Time. The application to be on the coaching staff is also open. Camp staff applications must be received by Friday, February 8th at 5 p.m.
Each spring, USA Swimming invites 48 athletes from underrepresented populations to participate in a three-day camp program which includes pool training, motivational and education sessions and team-building activities. Selection is based on times swum at USA Swimming sanctioned events.
U.S. Olympic Training Center (OTC), Colorado Springs, CO
May 2-5, 2019. Athletes will arrive on Thursday and depart on Sunday morning.

To empower athletes from ethnically under-represented populations and their coaches to:
  • Demonstrate the viability of multicultural success in swimming.
  • Achieve performance excellence at every level of the sport.
  • Expound the benefits and value of participating in the sport of swimming.
  • Assist in recruiting more swimmers and coaches from diverse ethnicities to the sport of swimming.
  • Be positive leaders and role models that others from multicultural backgrounds can emulate.
