NON-ATHLETE MEMBERSHIP:

Some parent volunteers are required to hold a USA/CT Swimming Membership. These volunteers include:

  • Meet Managers
  • Computer/Daktronics Operators
  • Swim Meet Chaperones
  • WPAC Executive Board Members

*NOTE: Officials also require a certification, but are certified differently through their officials training.

To be certified, NEW MEMBERS will need to complete the following steps:

  1. Complete Non-Athlete Membership Application AT THIS LINK HERE. Save your receipt and return it to JoAnn McCaffrey at [email protected] for reimbursement.
    1. Club Code is “WYW.”
    2. Membership type is “Other” for most positions.
  2. Initiate the USA Swimming Background Check AT THIS LINK HERE. Save your receipt and return it to JoAnn McCaffrey at [email protected] for reimbursement.
  3. Complete the USA Swimming Athlete Protection Training AT THIS LINK HERE. This is a free training. You MUST complete Step 1 before taking this training.

For RETURNING MEMBERS, please:

  1. Renew your USA/CT Swimming Non-Athlete Membership for the upcoming season (membership goes from January1-December 31 of each year) AT THIS LINK HERE. Memberships for the upcoming calendar year can be renewed after September 1st for the upcoming year.
    1. Club Code is “WYW.”
    2. Membership type is “Other” for most positions.
  2. Check to make sure your BACKGROUND CHECK is up to date, and update AT THIS LINK HERE if you need to.
  3. Check to make sure your ATHLETE PROTECTION is up to date, and update AT THIS LINK HERE if you need to.
