Dealing With a SafeSport Concern

Parental participants of our team are to do their part in ensuring our athletes may train and grow in a safe environment. As such, it is your duty to report activities, occurrences, or practices which may be of a questionable, violent, or grievous nature.

If you feel the Sanford YMCA Titans staff are engaging in questionable actions or practices, your first immediate contacts for ensuring the safety of our athletes will be our SYT Safe Sport Club Coordinator and our Sanford YMCA Aquatics Director.

If an incident of a more serious nature has occurred and significant action must be taken, you are to notify the aforementioned persons, our Sanford YMCA CEO, and follow the instructions of Dealing With a SafeSport Concern through the U.S. Center for SafeSport or USA Swimming based on the nature of the alleged offense.
