About

YMCA of Greater Cincinnati is the proud host of the 2023 YMCA National Gymnastics Championship and Invitational, selected by the YMCA of the USA and the National Gymnastics Advisory Committee.

The championship event, which was first held in 1938, is scheduled to take place June 21-25, 2023 at the Duke Energy Convention Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. This will be the first time the YMCA of Greater Cincinnati has hosted the event, which is expected to bring more than 4,000 gymnasts, family members and coaches from more than 75 YMCAs nationwide to Cincinnati.

Throughout 2022 and 2023, Y-USA and YMCA of Greater Cincinnati will monitor CDC guidance for preventing exposures to COVID-19 and recommended safety precautions will be put into place. The National Gymnastics Championship and Invitational is part of the Y's long-standing tradition to help support the health and well-being of kids. Each year, millions of kids participate in Y youth sports -- like gymnastics and swimming -- which helps build self-confidence and instill the importance of teamwork.

YMCA of the USA (Y-USA) is the national resource office for the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community for more than 175 years. The Y empowers everyone, no matter who they are or where they’re from, by ensuring access to resources, relationships and opportunities for all to learn, grow and thrive. By bringing together people from different backgrounds, perspectives and generations, the Y’s goal is to improve overall health and well-being, ignite youth empowerment and demonstrate the importance of connections in and across 10,000 communities nationwide.
