Dalton Herendeen Head Coach

Coach Dalton began his coaching career in 2014 right here in Franklin Township as the Middle School Assistant Coach.   Born in Elkhart Indiana, Dalton first discovered his love for the water in elementary school, but that was just the beginning.  He is a graduate of UIndy, where he was top eight finisher in the Great Lakes Valley Conference all four years.  A two-time Paralympian, Dalton represented the United States as a member of the US Paralympic team in London (2012) and in Rio (2016).  In 2015, Dalton swam in the World Championship where he broke the American Record in the 100 breaststroke (SB8 Class).  From competitor to coach, Dalton coached three years at The University of Mary Washington and was also a Head Site Coach for the RAYS swim team in Virginia.

Dalton is thrilled to return to his Indiana roots and share his life-long love of swimming with Flashes Aquatics!
