2017 Allison Collins University of Indiana
My name is Allison Collins and I have a long history with the Menlo Aquatics. I like to think of myself as one of the originals when Coach Aaron began coaching the team. I swam with Menlo Aquatics, starting at age twelve and continuing until I moved to Indiana my senior year of High School.
I was also their level one swim coach and helped Coach Melissa coach level two. My plans for the future are to continue coaching, hopefully one day coaching high school kids. Right now I am attending IUPUI, double majoring in Neuroscience and English. I would like to go to school to become a doctor but if that doesn't work out there is always coaching.
Maddie Tong University of Oregon
Hi! My name is Maddie, and I am currently a student at the University of Oregon. I began swimming from a young age, and swam with Menlo Aquatics for 8 years. I went to Saint Francis High School, where I played water polo for two years, and swam for three. Swimming not only taught me to push myself harder, but also taught me important skills including time management. I know that swimming will always be a big part of my life, and I can confidently say that it helped me become the person I am today.
