The Nominating Committee is chaired by the Head Coach and is forming now. If you are interested in being nominated for a position on the Booster Board, you must fill out the nomination form and return it to Brad as instructed.

Descriptions of the responsibilities of each position are being collected, but you can see the basic requirements in the Constitution.

One of the more significant changes in the revised Swim Team Boosters Constitution is that board positions will now be elected for two-year terms with staggerd terms. To initiate this process, positions which are normally elected in even-numbered years were elected for a one-year term in 2009.

Even-numbered Years

The offices of:

• President
• Escrow Account Treasurer
• Communications/Committee Chairperson
• National Team Chairperson

shall be elected for terms beginning in even-numbered years.
In 2009, these offices were elected for one-year terms.

Odd-numbered Years

The offices of:

• Secretary
• General Treasurer
• Meet Director
• Mandatory Supplemental Account Chairperson

shall be elected for terms beginning in odd-numbered years.
