Saskatoon Goldfins Swim Club Swimmers of the Month - January 2021 Lauren Anderson has been a dedicated member of the Goldfins Gold 14 training group this season. During the month of January 2021, Lauren challenged herself to numerous ways including her performance in the Group’s Aerobic Threshold training sets. At the G14 January 2021 Coaches Dual, Lauren posted her first unofficial 13 Year AA Provincial Time Standard in the 50M Backstroke. St Patrick’s Day celebrations came early this year for the Saskatoon Goldfins Swim Club. This past weekend 150 Goldfins swimmers raced in the Goldfins Shamrock Swim Challenge event. This racing event was held as an unofficial time trials for each Goldfins training group “bubble”. Goldfins swimmers were divided into two teams: Lucky Leprechauns and the ShamRockers. The top 3 swimmers in each age group posted points for their “Green” team. This weekend, the ShamRockers came out on top, posting a total of 613 points over the Lucky Leprechauns 477 points....

Congratulations to Goldfins Masters swimmer Harper Bennett on toping the Saskatoon Goldfins Timed 200 Kick Testing Results. The Goldfins Swim Club is participating in Swimming Canada’s #swimagain challenges. Last week’s Swimming Canada #swimagain challenge was the Timed 300 Pull. Goldfins swimmers were encouraged to post a pull best time, pulling with a pull-buoy. This past week the Saskatoon Goldfins Swim Club participated in the #swimagin challenge – Timed 400 Kick. Swimmers were encouraged to kick as fast as possible for 400M.
