This past week the Saskatoon Goldfins Swim Club participated in the #swimagin challenge – Timed 400 Kick. Swimmers were encouraged to kick as fast as possible for 400M. This kick could be performed with or without a kick board. Results from across Canada have been tabulated. Congratulations to our Goldfins on their achievements. The Saskatoon Swim Club participated in the Swimming Canada weekly challenge. This week's challenge was a Timed 100 IM swim recorded with a stroke count. Swimmers count each stroke to develop/maintain their stroke efficiency. Results from across Canada have been tabulated. Congratulations to our swimmers on their achievements. The Saskatoon Swim Club is partcipating in the Swimming Canada's #SwimAgain Challenge. This series of challenge events will be held October - November 2020. The goal of this event is to help re-engage and reconnect the Canadian swim community, by challenging all Canadian swimmers, regardless of age or ability, on a weekly basis. The Saskatoon Goldfins Swim Club has been invited to compete in the Virtual Swim League that is being hosted by the Grande Prairie Piranhas Swim Club. Swim Clubs from Great Britain and Canada will be competing in four (4) matches that will feature different events throughout this competition. The Saskatoon Goldfins Swim Club competed in the Saskatchewan Junior Provincial Championships in Moose Jaw, SK, March 6 – 8, 2020. Goldfins swimmers earned 1435 Total Team Points winning the 2020 Saskatchewan Junior Short Course Provincial Championships Large Club Award.
