Lasers Short Course Swim Meet Saskatoon Goldfins Meet Preview
The Saskatoon Goldfins Swim Club will be competing in the Lasers Short Course Swim Meet, Shaw Centre, Saskatoon, SK, Saturday, November 23, 2019. This meet will provide Goldfins swimmers an opportunity to race at “home” in timed finals sessions.
The meet’s schedule is as follows:
Session 1 – Goldfins Swimmer’s Arrival: 10:30 AM, Warm-Up: 11:00 AM, Competition: 11:35 AM
Events: 200 IM, 100 Backstroke, 25 & 50 Fly, 200 Freestyle, 100 Fly, 50 & 25 Backstroke, 400 IM, 50 & 25 Breaststroke
45 Minute Break
Session 2 – Events: 100 Freestyle, 200 Backstroke, 200 Breaststroke, 400 Freestyle, 100 IM, 200 Fly, 100 Breaststroke, 50 Freestyle
Swimmers should have the following items packed in their swim bags:
Tight Fitting Bathing Suit
Goggles
Goldfins Cap
Goldfins T-Shirt
Deck Shoes
2 Towels
Water Bottle
Light Snacks (e.g. crackers, orange slices, cereal, grapes, arrowroot cookies)
Log Book (Small Notebook & Pen/Pencil) – White 3 & Blue 14
