Head Coach Message to the Saskatoon Goldfins Swim Club Membership - March 15, 2020

The City of Saskatoon will be closing facilities: Harry Bailey Aquatic Centre and the Shaw Centre as of March 16, 2020. The Goldfins Swim Club realizes the impact this will have on our programming and on our training schedule, therefore, the Board of Directors will convene on Tuesday, March 17, 2020 to review the situation and the impact on all members thereof.

The Club will provide updated information as it becomes available and looks forward to resuming its schedule in the near future. Coaches will be contacting Goldfins training groups, providing swimmers with dryland training activities and with on-line learning links that they will be able to access for self-study.

At this time, the Club will continue to accept registration for 2020 Goldfins Summer Day Camps and for the 2020 Goldfins Summer Swimming Lesson program.

The Club urges members to continue to follow Saskatchewan Health Authority directives:

• Frequently wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. When soap and running water are unavailable, use an alcohol-based hand rub with at least 60% alcohol. Always wash hands that are visibly soiled.
• Avoid touching your eyes, nose, or mouth with unwashed hands.
• Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
