Saskatoon Goldfins Swimmers of the Month - February 2021

Carson Sereda-Wosminity is the Goldfins 2021 February Male Swimmer of the Month.  Carson has made significant improvement in the development of his aerobic capacity abilities.  Carson challenged these improvements in the Advanced White 3 testing and racing events held during the month of February.  Carson celebrated an overall time reduction of -32.30 seconds at the AW3 Hearts on Fire racing event.  At this same event, Carson raced the 200M Backstroke and the 400M Freestyle for the first time. 

Carson’s keen approach to improving his swimming strokes and skills will serve him well as he pursues his passion for the sport of swimming.  Congratulations Carson.

Saskatoon Goldfins Swim Club Female Swimmer of the Month is Isabel Magus.  During the month of February 2021, Isabel has made terrific improvement in her kick execution.  She reduced her 400M Freestyle Kick test time by 10.62 seconds. 

Isabel competed as a member of the “Awesome Arrows” in the G14 Heart Crusher Racing Event where she posted 73 points, realizing an overall time reduction of -11.70 seconds.  Isabel also participated in the G14 800M Freestyle racing event, where she posted a NEW 13 Year SC Provincial Time Standard, reducing her time to 10:51.34. 

Isabel brings an enthusiastic spirit with her to every training session and competitive event she participates in.  Congratulations to Isabel on being named the Goldfins February 2021 Swimmer of the Month.
