Saskatoon Masters Compete in the 45th Goldfins Invitational Swim Meet
The Saskatoon Goldfins Masters Swim Club joined with the Goldfins Swim Club and raced together in the 45th Goldfins Invitational Swim Meet on November 12-14, 2021. The Goldfins Masters were represented by 11 swimmers competing in total of 51 individual events.
13 Masters Short Course Provincial Records Broken
Heather Hynes broke 4 SC Masters Provincial Records in the 40-44 Women category. She set new record in the 100 Breaststroke preliminary at 1:26.29, and she set another new record in finals at 1:25.03; 100 Freestyle at 1:04.93; 50 Breaststroke at 38.73 and 100 Individual Medley at 1:15.82
Darcy Pawlik broke 3 SC Masters Provincial Records in the 40-44 Men category. He set new records in 200 Freestyle at 2:14.98; 100 Backstroke at 1:06.97 and 100 Freestyle at 59.48.
Peter Doig broke 2 SC Masters Provincial Records in the 60-64 Men category. He set new records in 100 Backstroke at 1:23.35 and 100 Individual Medley at 1:17.20.
Stephen Fisher broke 4 Short Course Masters Provincial Records in the 18-24 Men category. He set new records in 100 Backstroke at 59.35; 200 IM in preliminary at 2:21.15 and lowered it in finals at 2:17.45; 50 Breaststroke in preliminary at 32.20 and lowered it in finals at 30.80; 100 Individual Medley in preliminary at 1:03.08 and lowered it in finals at 1:01.04.
