Saskatoon Goldfins Swimmers of the Month - September 2022

Dejan Jarcan (Blue 12) - Dejan had a great month of training and was close to a couple A times in practice. He attended almost every workout and was a leader to the group. He consistently worked on his techniques throughout the month of September and could be counted on to always work hard. He was always cheering on his teammates during relays and fun parts of practice. Dejan always got in the water on time and came to the pool prepared. Congratulations!

Rebeka Mourre (Gold 18) - September is always and exciting month for swimming, it is a new season full of hope and optimism.  Coming in September swimmers tend to start fast then have a "slow down" week in week three.  Rebeka is one swimmer who bucked that trend, Rebeka had the top attendance in G18 for September including always arriving on time, helping with pool set up and competing her pre-pool dryland exercises.  These are the small habits that ultimately lead to long-term success and it is great to see Rebeka start the season so strongly in these areas.  Congratulations on being named swimmer of the month for September!
